Pro-Master Roof Shield is a synthetic underlayment that can be used with asphalt shingles, wood shakes, non-structural metal roofing, and synthetic and quarry slate roofing. It is both lighter and stronger than organic underlayment and is offered in two weights: UDL, 28 lbs and UDL Plus, 30.3 lbs. Both underlayments are manufactured with safety in mind: UDL has an anti-slip coating and UDL Plus has Traction Twist Fiber®.
